Good food

A hidden treat, super food and service. A must go to place. Hard to find but worth the trip.

Kobe steak, the real deal. The food is absolutely amazing and Dannie is passionate about culinary perfection. It took 2 years to get real Kobe beef and his chef did well with it. And lastly the atmosphere is nice but not too stuffy. If you have an iPhone, drive past the turn it tells you because it's someone's house, just look for the sign

Quaint off the beaten path restaurant with delicious upscale food and great service.

Amazing find in this small town. I had the ribeye steak and it was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. This is not a dining experience I expected to find in Hope. If you are here, or even close, make the drive. You will not be disappointed.

They serve the best food!!! The best Ribeyes I have ever ate!!! All the food I have eaten here has been excellent!! Love it!!!

Dannie's Cafe is owned by my great Aunt and her husband. They are nice people and Dannie's Cafe is currently being remodeled.

Best steak I have had in a very long time.

The food took 2 hours to arrive, despite us arriving and ordering before anyone else at the restaurant. All the meat was extremely dry. The coffee was full of coffee grounds. Service was slow. We had to get up multiple times to refill our own drinks. They were out of crab cakes, and they got multiple orders wrong. Worst restaurant experience of my life.

We had the most delicious dinner tonight! Our server, Danielle, was wonderful. We enjoyed meeting and talking with Flora and Bob. Definitely a must go to place! Looking forward to going there to eat again!

This place was absolutely amazing! My party of 4 all tried each other's meals and approved all. Setting was delightful and cozy. We felt kinda awkward at first. The location is in the middle of no where so your not going to the wrong place.

We visited Hope for our 20th anniversary and Dannie's was suggested. We made a reservation and showed up to a quaint barn. We stepped in and there were 7 total tables 4 full. One with 6 people with whom the hostess was speaking. This is not a larges place yet we stood right next to that table with her chit chatting until a minor chef came and sat us 10 minutes. It was another 10 minutes until she asked us what we wanted to drink.it was an hour until we got our food after a cheap iceberg 'house salad', having to start to refill our own drinks, "tea, just tea", before another chef came out. The actual dinner was good. However the customer service was horrific, time to get our order in and served was pathetic, and having the insult of included gratuity for service undeserving of even 10% was insulting. Skip Dannie's unless you want to spend the whole time complementing staff just in order to get you tea 1/2 way refilled.

Outstanding Food and great quality

OMG!! We were headed to Hope, Arkansas, and needed dinner before heading to the hotel. Looked at BBQ, burgers, pizza, Mexican and nothing sounded that great. Then we discovered DANNIE'S CAFE! Only open 5-9 pm. Reservations are REQUIRED, but we called an hour ahead and they worked us in. Scallops for an appetizer, redfish with crawfish etouffe and crab cakes for dinner. Creme brulee for dessert. Have to go back to try the beef and lamb side of the menu. Met the owners and almost every staff member said hello at some point. It is well outside of town on a sketchy road, but it is worth the adventure! Keep going even if you hear banjoes........

We went to Dannie's to celebrate my birthday. We had the pork chop and the ribeye and both were amazing! Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Lovely little hamlet in the county. High end dining experience. Sea Bass was amazing. Bob and Flora are very interesting folks. Check out the 40year old century plant!

Everything was on point from the professionalism of the staff ,to the atmosphere, to the flavor and quality of the meal even the desserts are homemade, the CHEF makes her own creamy garlic salad dressing even that was on point !!!!! Wife and I don't mind paying for a quality meal and this place is it hands down !!!! We will be back during our travels !!!!

Fantastic dining experience, had filet salmon, filet mignon, and ribeye all 3 were delicious. Also had creme brulee, pot of chocolate, cheesecake again all were fantastic. Will definetly be back again. Oh and we had scallops as the appitzer and so good. We will be back soon.

Absolutely delicious fresh food served in the most delightful atmosphere. The drive through the countryside to get there is so calming and relaxing. The folks at Dannie's are most gracious and friendly.

Amazing food!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic or relaxing place to enjoy life! The entire experience, from scenic drive through the country to the chief's cottage dinning, was an experience I will remember for a life time!

Excellent food, friendly staff made you feel at home. Clean, neat comfortable dining area. We sat by the fireplace. Five star dining experience close to home. Highly recommend.

I went to Dannie' s Cafe for a cooking lesson. It was a great experience! Not only was the food awesome, Chef Bob was an excellent teacher. I learned how to cook the perfect steak and that I have been making asparagus wrong for many years! This was my first time at Dannie's Cafe but it definitively will not be my last.

Absolutely to die for! Great atmosphere and music. The views are spectacular. Service is tremendous and will do anything for you. Great selection of foods especially the seafood! There really isn't a bad dish on the selections, unless you are looking for an excuse. It can feel very formal, but casual will do you just fine. Highly recommended. Very pricy, but worth it.

Fantastic food! Fabulous professional chef. Great service and atmosphere. Dress is casual. They don't serve alcohol but you may bring your own wine. Wine glasses and bottle opener provided. They just aren't allowed to open or serve it. Will be returning here soon!

The waiter was exceptional, the steak was not. Be warned, it is pricey. $65 for one person.
